The Zwergenstübchen daycare center in Gudow was founded by the municipality of Gudow in 1975 and operated by them until July 2025.

We assumed responsibility for the facility on August 1, 2025. A total of 96 children can be cared for here in 2 nursery groups, 3 preschool groups, and one forest group.


Our childcare hours: Monday to Friday

Early shift: 6:30-8:00 a.m.

Group duty: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Late shift: 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM



The peaceful, rural setting invites exploration, play, and relaxation. The daycare center is centrally located in the village, between a grocery store and the village church. Nearby, there is a large forest with fantastic play opportunities, the large Gudow Lake, and a playground.

The nursery and elementary school children each have a large playground in the outdoor area of the daycare center with a wide variety of play equipment to stimulate a wide range of movement possibilities.
