Training

Every year we seek dedicated individuals who wish to become educators, social education assistants, or special education teachers (all genders welcome) and offer high-quality training. There are now many pathways to obtaining these qualifications, which can be easily tailored to individual backgrounds. A good overview of the available options can be found at the Mölln Vocational Training Center (BBZ), with which we have a close partnership: http://www.bbzmoelln.de/bildungsangebot/nach-berufsfeldern/sozialpaedagogik/. We particularly welcome career changers and people from diverse cultural backgrounds. A shared foundation in the form of sound training is enriched by different life experiences and perspectives. This generally benefits the entire team. This is how our trainees themselves see it:

Tina Brauer (trainee started in 2020): “I would always choose the practice-integrated training to become an early childhood educator again, because the contract with the sponsoring organization makes me a fully-fledged team member. And I would always do my training with Montessori Nord gGmbH again, because the regular meetings and the number of trainees ensure I always have a good network.”

Ina Bohmke (training started August 2022 - blended learning): "Through the experience I've had with my own three children and the understanding of how important kindergarten is for children's development, I decided about a year ago to change careers and become a kindergarten teacher. At Montessori, I found a modern organization that provides excellent support and guidance during my blended learning training, allowing me to be happy and satisfied and to integrate everything well into my family life."

Advantages of an apprenticeship with us:

  • Training with a reputable provider
  • Qualified instructors in the individual facilities
  • Main focus of Montessori pedagogy
  • Good chances of being hired after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
  • Monthly networking meetings for trainees with intensive exchange on topics from theory and practice.
  • Opportunity to change roles within the organization to gain more practical experience
