We are a non-profit organization founded in 2005, currently operating 10 daycare centers in Gudow, Mölln, Ratzeburg, Groß Sarau, Pönitz, and Eutin. We are a recognized provider of independent youth services under Section 75 of the German Social Code, Book VIII (SGB VIII). With approximately 165 employees, we care for over 530 children. In doing so, we not only fulfill a legal mandate but also strive, through a clear mission statement, to contribute to promoting positive living conditions for families and to shape an important aspect of social life.

The development of the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We support them in a variety of ways and provide them with a sense of security. We understand the individual potential, needs, and family situations of each child as resources and support the development of a positive self-image, preparing them for life in a democratic and social community in harmony with nature. We also support young parents in balancing work and family life.

As an organization, we focus on professional management behind the scenes with a solid financial structure to give the on-site teaching teams the necessary freedom. The facilities operate as autonomously as possible. Flat hierarchies ensure short communication channels and quick decision-making. We utilize modern electronic support in the background where it simplifies and accelerates processes. This frees up time for face-to-face dialogue where technology reaches its limits.

Montessori Primary School

We started as a parent initiative to establish a Montessori primary school in Ratzeburg. The school opened in 2006 and had one mixed-age class with a total of 32 children. Thanks to the dedicated work of the teacher and her husband, the school had an excellent reputation. In the summer of 2018, the teacher left the school, and unfortunately, due to a lack of a replacement, the school had to close. You can find an insight into daily school life back then here:
