Parental contributions

The financing of daycare centers in Schleswig-Holstein is secured approximately two-thirds through subsidies from the state, districts, and municipalities, and approximately one-third through parental contributions. These contributions are the same throughout Schleswig-Holstein according to Section 31 of the Schleswig-Holstein Daycare Act (KiTaG-SH) and are based on the duration of daily care.

Parental contributions for Zwergenstübchen Gudow

• Early shift/late shift nursery - 1.5 hours each: €43.50
• Nursery - 7 hours: €203
• Early shift/late shift Elementary/Nature - 1.5 hours each: €42.45
• Elementary/Nature - 7 hours: €198.10

Sibling discounts

If siblings are cared for in the daycare center, the fee for the second child is reduced by 50%. From the third child onwards, daycare is free of charge.

If children attend after-school care (OGS), the fee for daycare centers in the district of Herzogtum Lauenburg is reduced by a further 12.5% (in addition to the sibling discount mentioned above). The sibling must attend care for four days a week. The costs must be borne by the family.

Discounts

Further discounts may be granted if certain conditions are met.

Diaper money:

The facilities Kinderhaus Ratzeburg and Kinderscheune procure diapers (Pampers) according to need. These are then charged at €0.35 each.

Lunch:

The cost for lunch is currently €4.40. Payment is processed via the Kitafino app. If you cancel in time, you will be billed on a daily basis. Lunch is provided by Grönau Catering (www.groenaucatering.de). A discount is available for lunch under certain conditions.

Lunch Rappelkiste:

The current cost is a monthly flat rate of €77.00. Meals are prepared on-site by the hotel's own chef.

Breakfast:

Most of the ingredients for our breakfast come from the Demeter farm Lämmerhof (www.laemmerhof.de). Breakfast costs €12 per child per month, regardless of holidays or attendance.

Breakfast Rappelkiste, Natur-Kinderhaus and Zwergenstübchen:

The children bring their own breakfast.

Usage fee for the dwarf's room:

A monthly usage fee of €10 is charged here.

Debit:

Parental contributions, breakfast fees, diaper fees (if applicable), and the usage fee will be collected by direct debit from the parents' account on the 10th of each month. Authorization for direct debit is part of the admission requirements.
