Parents

Basics

The foundations of cooperation between the provider and parents are the childcare contract, our mission statement, and our educational concepts. Ongoing dialogue between you and us forms the basis of this collaboration. This includes parent evenings, newsletters, notices, our website, parent surveys, and our exchange with parent representatives. We dedicate ample time to annual developmental and parent-teacher meetings. Many of our centers also host parent cafés, festivals, and celebrations.

What can you contribute to a well-functioning partnership?

Ask us questions. Don't wait too long if anything is unclear. Many things can be clarified with just a few words. Show interest in our work. Remain respectful and polite, even in stressful situations. Help us if we ever ask for your help.

If there are any problems

Professionals and parents sometimes meet with very different perspectives. Even if these views are contradictory, we are united by a common interest: the well-being of your child.

If you ever feel misunderstood and encounter obstacles with the teaching staff or the management of the center that you cannot resolve on your own, we have two trained parent advisors within Montessori Nord gGmbH. Their role is to support you. They will take the time to understand your problem, listen to you, and then advocate for your needs on your behalf.
